Ingredients

  • 1 cup pigeon peas
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh coconut ( grated or finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic pods
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 3-4 dry red chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2. Add the ground coconut spice paste , salt to the dal mixture and add
  • 2. Add the cooked and mashed dal , salt and the spice paste .
