Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour/Atta
  • ½ tsp Salt (Adjust as per taste)
  • Shelf Life: Best served fresh but can be refrigerated for upto 3 days
  • Serving Suggestion: With Poori, chapatti or with dosa

  • 4 medium Potatoes, scrubbed and washed
  • 2 large Onions, thinly sliced
  • ¾ inch Ginger, peeled and finely chopped or grated
  • 2-4 Green Chillies, slit
  • ¼ tsp Haldi/Turmeric Powder
  • 1-2 tsp Jaggery/Sugar (adjust as per taste)
  • Salt to taste

  • For Tadka/Tempering
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • ½ tbsp Urad Dal/Black Gram
  • 1-2 Dry Red Chilli, halved
  • A generous pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
  • A spring or two Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Oil
