I know my in laws will have Adaiwith fresh homemade butter and my father has it with jaggery. Grind it to coarse paste with all other ingredients except onion and coriander leaves

I wanted to try it out as dosa however later my son wanted uttappam (with mixed vegetables). This dosa is one good recipe to include black rice as part of your diet
When you touch with wet hand it shouldn't stick to your hand. Quinoa - 2 cup. Idli rice - 1 cup. Urad dhal - 3/4 cup. Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoon. Soak both for 6-8 hours or overnight. It might take about 6-8 hours. Pour the batter and steam it till idli is cooked ( it will take about 8-10 mins at medium flame). Serve hot with your favourite chutney 2 cup Idli rice
Cashew Nuts - handful. Also if I do Iddiyappam for Friday night dinner, I purposely make more to do some flavoured iddiyappam for Saturday morning breakfast
