Ingredients

  • 250 ml cup
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 2 garlic pods
  • 3/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon besan
  • water ( adjust)
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons ghee
  • or oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon kasuri methi
  • 1. In a small bowl, whisk the curd without any lumps.
  • 2. Add the besan, chilli powder, ginger
  • 3. Add half cup ( 100 ml) water to the mixture and transfer the mixture to a wide pan or kadai .
  • 4. Cook this mixture over low flame , stirring occasionally.
  • 5. While the kadhi is simmering over low flame caramelise the onions.
  • 6. After approximately 15
