  • 1 cup besan/Bengal gram flour
  • 1 cup onions chopped

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp chilli paste
  • pinch of asafetida/hing
  • ½ tsp
  • fenugreek seeds/methi
  • ½ tsp
  • cumin seeds/jeera
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds/sarson
  • curry leaves
  • dried whole red chillies
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
  • ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • tablespoon freshly chopped coriander leaves/dhani patta
  • 1 tsp sugar
