Chicken Curry Dhaba Style (kukuda tarkari) – Remember those road side dhabas along the highway and the delicious smelling chicken which made you hungry and your mouth water
The dish that I am presenting to you offers a typical flavour of a dhaba made chicken. Fry for a few seconds and then mix together with the onion) Fry for a few seconds and then add the chicken
Take biryani handi (with lid), add oil,when oil is hot, and add whole garam masala, onions, salt, turmeric, ginger garli paste, green chilly, sauté them for 2 minutes, add tomatoes, chopped mint, chopped coriander, chilly powder, garam masala, mix this, add chicken pieces, add 1 cup of water, let it cook for some time, in a slow flame. Take a big bowl add water, salt and bring to boil to cook rice, once the rice is 75% cooked drain the water and then add the rice in the top of the chicken and add ghee, saffron, lime juice, then take the lid and place the edges with dough on the lid and seal it, and place back the pan on the iron tawa and cook this in a slow flame for 10 minutes then switch off the flame

These are the ingredients you will need for the DhabaChicken KARAHI. This Wok-tossed chicken can be prepared super fast and comes in handy when you are pressed for time
But this time I couldn't restrict myself from preparing this chicken highway curry or dhaba style chicken curry while I saw one of my food lover's friend had prepared it and posted the pic in a social networking site
In a large vessel add chicken with all the marination ingredients - Curd, Red chilli powder, Salt, Turmeric powder, Ginger-garlic paste, Oil, Coriander-mint-chilli paste and garam masala powder
Fry the marinated chicken drumsticks until golden brown. Chicken – 500 gmsPlain Yogurt – 1/4 cupGinger – 1 tblspGarlic – 1 tblsp,Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tspRed Chilli Powder – 1/2 tspSalt – 1 tspOil – 3 to 4 tblspBlack Peppercorns – 4 tblsp, crushedJuice of 1/2 LemonGaram Masala Powder – 1 tspCoriander Leaves – handful, chopped. Add the chicken and allow it to marinate for 2 hours in the fridge. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked
