this rasam recipe is also served as soup for common cold problems as it is spiced with pepper. basically a lentil based soup, typically served with hot steamed rice for lunch or dinner
Ingredients for making Pudina (Mint) Rasam. Rasam is a must table item in our family. Hot Rasam rice adding a tea spoon of ghee with any vegetable fry as side dish equals nothing
This dal rasam to comes in the same category which looks quite easy but tastes awesome and hence this rasam can be called as comforting food when you are soo lazy to prepare heavy lunch
2)Sauté this for 2-3 min. 3)Add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 2 min. 4)Add chopped sorakaya and cook it for 2 min and add some milk ,chili powder and pressure cook it for 1 whistle. 5)Remove the pressure and cook it for 3-4 min and finally add coriander powder. 1)Microwave chopped sorakaya with some water for about 4-5 min (or till it's cooked 80%). 3)Sauté this for 2-3 min. 4)Add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 2 min. 5)Now add cooked sorakaya along with milk and cook it for 5-10 min
For Tampering. 3)When everything is mixed up place the bowl on stove and let it boil for 15 min (until you see some boiling rolls in it). 4)Now add green chili ,pepper powder and let it boil for 5 min. 5) Finally add below mentioned tampering to it and let it boil for 2 min. 6)There it is spicy tomato rasam is ready
