Ingredients

  • 1 cup tamarind extract
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp jaggery salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup toor dal, cooked
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp urad dal
  • 2 dried red chili, broken few curry leaves pinch asafoetida
  • 15 minutes add
  • 2 cups of water and get to boil
