Ingredients

  • 3 cups of finely chopped cabbage. Decide on the quantity as per your need.
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp split udad dal
  • 3 green chillis deseeded
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste.
  • pinch of asafoetida/hing
  • 1/2 cup of grated fresh coconut
  • 2 tbsp oil, coconut oil if you prefer.Sprigs of curry leaves.
