When I was in Bangalore, I used to get plenty of moong dal salad on this BIG day Rama Navami from my neighbors and each one’s salad tasted so differently though every one’s recipe was same

Carrot moong dal salad or hesaru bele kosambari (as called in Karnataka) is the healthiest salad made from carrot and moong dal and a traditional salad of Karnataka State
It will take around 5 minutes. And cover the pot with lid, and cook for 15 minutes. 5. Then open the lid, add salt to taste and black pepper (optional) and cook for another 5 minutes. 1 1/2 cup red lentil (masoor dal) soaked for 1 hour (not necessary)
