Ingredients

  • 13 th and
  • 14 th century by traders of the Middle East
  • 1 cup milk
  • 21/2 cups water
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 cardamom
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Tea
  • 3. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes
  • 4. Add the milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.
  • 5. Remove from the heat and add the tea.
  • 6. Cover and let steep for few minutes.
  • 2 Cup All purpose Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Carom seeds
  • 3-4 drops of Lemon juice
  • 4 Potatoes, Medium size, Boiled
  • 1/2 Cup Green Peas, Boiled
  • 1/4 Cup Carrot, Boiled and finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 2 Cloves 1 small Cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 Cup Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 3-4 Green Chilly, Finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to Fry
