White rice-3 Glass(medium Sized)use any rice of your choice.
Ginger-1 medium Size Piece
Grated coconut-1 Full coconut
Tomato-3 Big tomatoes
Garam Masala-1 tbs
Coriander Leafs-a small bunch
Saute the rice in oil for five minutes then add sufficient water to cook.No need to drain,so carefully add the water.
In a pan add the oil add the soy chunks and some chilli powder, shallow fry it and keep aside.
Then add the shallots,ginger,pepper and garlic.when its turns mushy,blend it and keep aside.
Now make smooth paste of coconut,green chilli and tomatoes.
Add the masalas to the pan and roast it with a little oil,then add the coconut paste,saute occasionally then add the onion paste in to it.saute till the gravy get seperated from the bottom of the pan.
After that add the soy chunks, mix well and add a little water and salt and allow the soy chunks to cook for few minutes in the gravy.
Make layers of rice,soy gravy and coriander leafs and again rice and cover cook in a heavy bottomed vessel in low flame for 15 minutes.After that add lot of chopped coriander leafs,mix lightly the rice with a fork.
