I love the sweet version of this snack which I will try to post soon. I decided to make this diamond biscuits a little different by adding different spices just as we do for mathris or namakpara
Separate each piece Gently and arrange it side by side on a kitchen paper or a plate. Diamond cuts is also known as khara Maida Biscuit or Spicy Shankarpali or thukkudi
Essential for the purpose are Shankarpali or shakkarpara methai, handmade pastries, as well as chevda and namkeen, crispy salted snacks incredibly spicy sprinkled with a sugar syrup and rose water
This year, I had made up my mind on a couple of sweets and savory items that I wanted to make, this Savory DiamondCuts/Maida Kara Biscuits was one among them
They are shaped like diamonds and can be either sweet or savory. This is in continuation of my Diwali Sweets posts since the festival is fast approaching
