Sweet Potato Khichadi Recipe -Ekadashi Vrut Recipe

  • Sweet potatoes:1/2 kg
  • potatoes : 2
  • peanut powder: 1/2 kg
  • oil : 250 gm
  • green chilly pieces: 1 bowl
  • salt : 2 tbsp
  • red chilly powder: 1 tbsp
  • cumin seeds: 1 tbsp


    Take washed, clean sweet potatoes, remove its upper part by slicer.

    Grate it with big hole slicer.

    Now take all remaining ingredients in the Thali.
    Keep the pan on the gas.

    Pour oil to it,add cumin seeds, green chilly pieces and shallow fry it.
    Now add slowly grated sweet potatoes. Shake it well.
    Again add grated sweet potatoes and shake it well.
    Do this action 3 times to get well steam and to mix it well.
    Now keep the lid on it.
    Your well prepared sweet potato KHICHADI IS READY to serve.
