Happy Varalakshmi Pooja for you. I like Jaggery based sweets. Salt - a pinch. Wheat rava / Wheat Semolina - 1/2 cup. Jaggery - 1/2 cup. yellow split Moong dal - 1/4 cup. Ghee - 1 tablespoon. Water - 1. Milk - 1/2 cup. Cashew nuts & raisins - 1 tablespoon (broken rouhgly). Cardamom Powder - 1/4 teaspoon. Wash and soak Moong dal for 30 min. If your Jaggery has sand or some dirt then Melt the jaggery with 1/4 cup water. 1 tablespoon Water - 1. 5 cup Milk - 1/2 cup Cashew nuts & raisins - 1 tablespoon (broken rouhgly)
It is a sweetened hot drink or kheer. It is a malabar special ifthar drink especially made with milk, very few semolina, vermicelli and seasoned with nuts and chopped shallots
