1. Dry
roast oats in a pan till the raw smell goes. Do not brown the oats.
2. I
wanted to add legumes instead of dry fruits and nuts, so used 1
4. When
the jaggery starts to boil, add the legumes or dryfruits, which ever you are using.
6. Now
add the Oat Flour and stir continously to mix. The mixture will thicken and you will get a stiff dough.
8. Grease
the doughnut moulds with oil.
9. Take
equal portions of the dough and shape them in the mould. Preheat the Oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes Bake the donuts at 160 degrees C for 5 to 7 minutes
10. To
prepare the glaze, heat the jaggery sugar mixture and the jaggery need to come to become thick. To check the right consistency for glaze, test by just dropping the jaggery sauce( one drop). If it does
