Ingredients

  • 2 tsp chana dal
  • 2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2-3 red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4-5 garlic clove
  • 1/2 kg brinjal (baingan
  • 2 cups long grained rice (basmati) , soaked for 1 hour and drained
  • 2 medium size onion
  • green chilli (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 minutes Switch off the gas
  • 1 green peas
  • 4 potatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp dhania jeera powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • Oil
  • ½ cup desiccated fresh coconut
  • 2 tbsp desiccated dry coconut
  • 4-5 green chillies
  • 4 garlic clove
  • 1 inch ginger
