  • Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 basmati rice.
  • 1/2 bell pepper.
  • 2-3 green chilies.
  • 1 carrot 2 tbsp peas.
  • 3 Spring onions/Green onions/Scallions.
  • 3 mushrooms.
  • 1 cabbage leaf.
  • 4 tsp soy sauce.
  • 1 tsp pepper powder.
  • 2 garlic pods(cut in to small pieces).
  • 1 inch ginger piece.
  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • salt required.

  • Preparation
  • Soak basmati rice in water for 10-15 minutes Drain the excess water.
  • Add equal amount of water and 2 drops of oil.
  • Pressure cook it for 2 whistles.Keep the cooker off the stove after you switch off the flame.
  • Cool the rice and keep it aside.
  • Cut the vegetables in Julian(thin -long pieces).
  • If using frozen peas,keep in room temperature for an hour or so.
  • Cut the spring onions white part and green part separate(don't use the whole green stem, they will be very chewy,taking up to half of it will do).
