  • 4. Add the tamarind extract and bring to boil. Add the chopped tomato and salt. Mix it well.
  • 5. Add the sambar powder and mix well. Let it boil till the raw smell of masala and tamarind goes off.
  • 6. Add the cooked dal and allow it cook for 5 more minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
