White Gravy Fish Curry With Carrot

  • Red Snapper-2
  • Green Chilli Paste-1tbs
  • Turmeric-1/4tsp
  • Pepper Powder-1/2tsp
  • Lime Juice-1tsp
  • Salt
  • First Coconut Milk-1cup
  • Second Coconut Milk-1 Cup
  • Chopped Onion-1
  • Chopped Green Chilli-1
  • Chopped Coriander and Curry Leafs-1tbs
  • Corn Flour-1tsp
  • Finely Chopped Ginger-1tsp
  • Finely Chopped Garlic-2 1/2tsp
  • Pepper Powder-1/2tsp
  • Roasted Fennel Powder-1/4tsp
  • Carrot-1 Cut In to halves length wise.then Cut as small pieces.
  • Salt.
  • Ghee-1tsp
  • Oil-4tsp


    Marinate the fish with green chilli paste,turmeric,pepper,salt and lime.take 2tsp oil and shallow fry it.keep aside.

    Heat the pan add the ghee and oil.add onion,green chilli,garlic and ginger.add pepper,coriander and curry leafs.saute for few minutes and add the second milk and corn flour.(mix the corn flour with a little water )add salt.

    When it gets boiled add the fish and carrot.when the gravy gets thickened add fennel and first milk.make a stir.no need to boil.when the sides of the gravy leaves bubbles turn off and garnish with coriander leafs.
