Fry the onion rings and slit green chillies for a few minutes (a shallow fry would be sufficient). Soak the chick peas in water overnight and cook them well
Onion and tomatoes sautéed in butter and oil till nice and soft, topped with ginger-garlic till raw aroma is gone, infused with different dry spices, then cooked with fresh vegetables and tossed into rice topped with freshly cut coriander leaves (cilantro) and green garlic
In my recipe, I have used whatever vegetables available in my kitchen and added chili powder since my family loves spicy food, green chili can be added instead of chili powder
