Honestly, his expressions were very apt, considering the fact that the so called “keema paratha” placed in front of us looked like a Veg Korma or veg stir fry (or a combination of both), with chunky pieces of carrot, potato, beans, cauliflower
Koraishutri dhokar dalna goes very well with bengali pulao or luchi. You can devour them as a snack or make a curry with scented cumin-ginger paste which is a very flavourful combination of two ingredients and it becomes a backbone of many Bengali vegetarian dishes as we do not use onion and garlic with our vegetables
This time i added in rice with combination of fresh greenpeas. Usually i go to market once in a week and pick up all vegetables and we are getting plenty of fresh greenpeas in my market, before the season comes to close i bought greenpeas and i stocked in my fridge
Add cooked greenpeas and roast for some time. ½ tspGreen chillies. Paneer, Peas and carrot make a great, colourful and tasty combination and adds to the appeal
+Swati Saxena ~ Maharashtrian-Green-Peas-Curry. Serve with lemon wedges, green chillies, onions and pav / soft rolls or with Bhakris / Indian flatbreads made of pearl millet or sorghum flour
Then add greenpeas and rice & saute for few minutes. Peas - a handful. As i basically love the combination of sweet and spicy taste,i liked this rice very much when i had it with Chanar dalna(yet to post) & Begun bhaja
Just add a small handful of greenpeas along with the rice and cook as mentioned in the recipe. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies and sauté till the raw smell is gone
