In a large vessel add chicken with all the marination ingredients - Curd, Red chilli powder, Salt, Turmeric powder, Ginger-garlic paste, Oil, Coriander-mint-chilli paste and garammasalapowder
Add garammasalapowder and lemon juice and mix well. It is very necessary to use fresh herbs and freshly pound garammasala to bring out perfect flavors to the biryani recipe
Saute them in the oil until they get swollen, next add the veggies, followed by the dry masalapowders (Elachi powder, garammasalapowder, biryanimasalapowder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt
Put the rice, some more water and add half the whole garammasala and salt in a pan. Add turmeric and chili powder, saute for half a minute add the chopped vegetables and stir for a minute
Add cardamom,cinnamon,cloves,ginger-garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,Curd,Garammasalapowder,Salt,half the fried onions,Lemon juice,Oil in which onions were fried,finely chopped mint + coriander leaves, mix well and check for taste
After veggies are bit cooked, add in biryanimasala, red chili powder, garammasalapowder and gradually add yogurt stirring well to prevent curdling of curd
Put yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, GaramMasalapowder, Lemon juice, Fried Onions, Green Chilies, Coriander (finely Chopped), Mint ( finely chopped),Salt to taste, ghee (one of the secret ingredient of making good tasty biryani) and mix well
Add garammasalapowder and mix the whole mixture well. Firstly, in a large bowl, add the mutton pieces, add salt to taste, add red chilli powder, add turmeric powder, add ginger garlic paste
After veggies are bit cooked, add in biryanimasala, red chili powder, garammasalapowder and gradually add yogurt stirring well to prevent curdling of curd
While the mutton is soaking half cook the rice with salt, a teaspoon of ghee, a teaspoon of jeera, raw garammasalas cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaves
Spread half of the masala as a first layer. Yummy Hyderabadi Veg Dum Biryani is now ready to taste. Again the third layer is done with the remaining masala, throw in mint, coriander leaves on the top of the gravy
