I am happy to share my first post on millet recipes/Siruthaniya unavugal(inTamil). As i wanted to start with a easy sweet recipe,i tried this mixed millets laddu adding jaggery

Here I used little millets also called Samai inTamil to prepare quick adais. Millets are making more way in my kitchen of late and so slowly Iam switching to various millets and trying out recipes simply replacing rice
Though i make it very often,i wanted to try a dosa recipe with kambu (intamil)/Pearlmillet ( inEnglish)/Bajra(inHindi) as i got tempted by seeing my fellow bloggers post
Kodo millet also known as varagu intamil, kodra inhindi/marathi/punjabi/gujarati, arikelu in telugu, harka in kannda, koovaragu in malayalam, kodo in bengali and kodua in oriya
Little millet is called as Saame in Kannada, Saama in Telugu, Saamai inTamil and Kodaa inHindi. Instead of rice I have used little milletsince it is healthy and gluten free
Navane in kannada is Foxtail milletin english and thinaiintamil is used in dishes like the idli, dosas, and is consumed like we south indians consume rice as the staple food
