Sweets, Snacks. I have a sweet shop near by my house where in I can order for it an hour or so before hand and can get a fresh kovawithout wasting my gas and time
That means now I can make all the above sweets at any time. If you have to make some Indian Sweets like Carrot Halwa, Gulab Jamun, Palakova, Burfi or Peda then you definitely need the Koya as the main ingredient
Everyone might be busy like me preparing sweets and savoury for diwali, even i was making some sweets and namkeen for this diwali so sharing my posts here, two days back i prepared gujiya with mawa , we in our state call this sweet as kajjikayalu or garjelu and weprepare generally this with coconut,or peanut filling with jaggery or sugar ,my mom prepareswith roasted gram also but mostly we prefer with coconut and sugar filling, dessicated coconut is toasted lightly with ghee and mixed with sugar and used as filling for gujiyas ,but i made with crumbled mawa and toasted dryfruits
Gujiya making is an art by self specially if wecan sealing the edges by hand, my mom never used mould or fork to seal edges she used to do it with hands/finger in such perfect design, I don't get that yet
