My kid's love this thin gravy, however in restaurants it's usually quit`e thick-if you want to thicken the gravy-take 2 tb. sps at a time for gravies-the advantage of this method is twofold a) my cooking time on a daily basis is very short(browning onions is a lengthy process) and b) Once my onions are browned, I drain the oil-so my gravies have minimum oil and are light-if you're browning 2 cups of diced onions for the above recipe you could fry them in 3 tb
